For Europe, this is a defining crossroads. Instead of trailing down an extractive path, Europe is charting a course toward digital sovereignty. By leveraging frameworks like GDPR and the EU AI Act, we can build a digital ecosystem that is transparent, decentralized, and accountable.

Yet, a massive information gap stands in the way. Because things move so fast, leaders and businesses default to proprietary tech out of convenience, trapping themselves in ecosystems they do not own and cannot control. You cannot have a sustainable business or society if you do not own your technological foundation.
